Calligraphy courses and workshops
The structure and principles of sound letter making are taught to encourage an understanding and exploration of calligraphy and design. Workshops are supported by demonstrations, discussion
and individual tuition.
Celia is an enthusiastic, friendly, and supportive tutor, and as a Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Accredited Tutor, offers a high standard of tuition. I have specialised in teaching calligraphy,
design and lettering art since 1994 both locally and nationally to
a variety of levels.

Workshop Topics
Workshops can be arranged on a wide variety of topics, varying in length from half a day to a weekend or longer. I welcome any inquires and I am happy to discuss any of the workshop topics listed with you, for travelling distances over 50 miles I would prefer to run 2 day and longer courses.

Capitals; Texture, pattern and movement Exploring, developing and changing shapes of capitals, inspired from both the traditional to contempoary creating colourful textures.

Basic illustration techniques combining various illustration and drawing techniques to enhance your calligraphy.
Creative colour understanding and experimenting with colour.
